Problem Description:
When making a new filesystem (mkfs.xfs or mke2fs) the system freezes immediately
(xfs) or when writing the super blocks (ext2). mkreiserfs does work however.
The LVM is sitting on a 4*72G hardware raid. Volume size is 40GB.
Steps to reproduce:
Create a logical volume of > 40GB on a lvm2 and start either of mkfs.xfs,mke2fs.
